You Win! Guide reveals secrets, offers checklists for sellers and real estate professionals
Charleston, S.C. (Jan. 19, 2010)
Charleston-area real estate experts Terry Haas and Julie
Chalupsky today released their new e-book that offers tips and tools for showing off a home’s
greatest potential and creating strong buyer appeal. Titled “You Win! Prepare Your House For Sale
Using This Step-By-Step Guide,” this e-book can be downloaded at www.YouWinGuide.com.
“The goal of home preparation is to improve the home's appearance in the eyes of potential
buyers, with the ultimate goal of selling the home quickly and for the highest possible price,” said
Haas, a featured real estate expert on HGTV’s “Designed to Sell” and a home-staging consultant in
Charleston. “In the You Win! Guide, we tell you exactly what you need to do to gain the competitive
edge in this tight housing market. And we don’t hold back any punches.”
Homes that are prepared correctly for sale sell faster and for more money. The U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development reports that, on average, a staged home sells for 17
percent more than an unstaged home. According to the National Association of Realtors, a properly
staged home will sell twice as fast as one that hasn’t been staged.
Haas and Chalupsky said they wrote the You Win! Guide because they want to help
frustrated sellers and real estate professionals who are losing money on properties that are sitting
on the market and not selling.
“I think sellers need to realize how involved they have to be in the sale of their own home.
You can’t just throw your house on the market and expect a miracle,” said Chalupsky, a licensed real
estate agent who has been recognized as a top producer, top sales agent and top listing agent. “As a
seller, you need to educate yourself on how to make your house shine and stand out from other
houses on the market.”
Each chapter of the You Win! Guide focuses on a different area of the home that requires a
seller’s attention – from the kitchen to the bathroom to the backyard. Buyers of the You Win! Guide
also will receive a room-by-room notebook with 107 tips and tricks, a checklist for keeping home
staging projects organized, and a bonus chapter on open houses and showings.
The e-book is available through secured online ordering at www.YouWinGuide.com. The e-
book can be downloaded after payment. Not only is this a “green” business practice, but it also
allows instant access to this invaluable home-selling resource.
